It's a vinyl version, and while I'm still waiting for the CD to arrive, I wonder if anyone can tell me if there's an extra (11th) track on the CD? The LP has 10 tracks and lasts 27 min., while the catalogue says: 11 tracks, 30 min. Frank P.S. 'Blue' is a bit disappointing. A few great 'Imperial'-type of songs (esp. 'Mapple Leaf' & 'Ski Jump'), a couple of up tempo tracks, that sound to me like Air Miami demos, and some New Wave-ish things. The new Ida (featuring Dan Littleton, also in Liquorice) CD, 'I Know About You', on Simple Machines (SMR 47) is much better. Even better than their first album, 'Tales Of Brave Ida', I'd dare to say! +++++++++++++++++++ Frank Brinkhuis frankbri@pop.pi.net +++++++++++++++++++ Date: Fri, 10 May 1996 03:17:34 -0400 From: "James M. It sounded good, after the first listen, but then it kind of started to sound monotonous. I seriously have fallen in love with every project/record he's been involved with, but this was a little too generic, like Air Miami outtakes. The lyrics are innane (which is kind of to be expected from Mark). Supposedly, he was drunk, and he did them all in one night, and in one take, so I don't think Mark is taking it too seriously. Kind of dissappointing if you're expecting another Me.me.me., but it's kind of fun overall. BTW, I just sold it to raise money for the ESP Continent CD I found new at Reckless this weekend....woo hoo!!! Matt
