The Scottish composer, who arranged the strings on Massive Attack's "Protection" and has worked with Bjork, will play piano during a performance with a 27-piece string section on Jan. 14 in London. Both Liz Fraser (Cocteau Twins) and Paul Buchanan (Blue Nile), who appear on the album, will perform at the event." That was taken from one of the CT site's forums. The track is called 'This Love'. I bought this on a whim last friday- and I all I have to say is T I R E D!!!!! The track is with Liz on it it is fine- but strings everywhere. I haven't listened to it more than once and I can't bring myself to another. The no refunds policy at the store I purchased it from has me contemplating the ol' "track three skips," story- which may work. Strings and strings and not a fresh beat anywhere to be found on this one. It includes the Elizabeth Fraser track "This Love". I've given it a few spins and overall it is pleasing. The overall "soudtrackiness" of it was a bit unexpected, but just as I was getting used to it, so were the beats unexpected. On a whole a good album. Possibly hipster easy-listening. My only minus is the drawn-out theme from "Rome and Juliet" that includes dialogue. VOcals contributed too by Paul Buchanan from the Blue Nile, which I can't help but think sounds like the Blue Nile.
