           GS: The video was beautiful. How involved were you in the
           selection of images used in the video?

           LG: I wasn't very involved at all. I spoke to Nigel [Grierson] on
           the phone and one thing that I really wanted to do with this
           project, because of the work that I've done with Brendan over the
           years where we've been so involved in everything and sometimes
           I've thought, well that's OK but I wonder whether we've stopped
           the true potential of this other person from coming into being. I
           really wanted to just let Nigel be. When we talked about the piece
           and he told me what it meant to him, I felt that this was the time
           to respect the work of the other man. He's very, very competent,
           and I was really happy with the result. It's wonderful.

      Has anyone seen this video? I hope I can see it sometime...

           GS: I understand you and Brendan have began working on a new album?

           LG: We've been working for about seven months on a sort of
           transcendental...rhythm... It's absolutely a huge animal. I don't
           think even we know what to do with it at this stage. It's a very
           large work, very strong. There's also Brendan's solo project
           that's coming out.

           GS: Any idea when that's going to be out?

           LG: He's doing a little work on it right now. He might finish it
           before we get back together. It's practically finished. It's very,
           very beautiful, very powerful.

           GS: I read rumors in the French press that you two had almost
           broken up?

           LG: There's a sign on the wall in a shop where I live and it says,
           " Nothing much happens around here but the rumors make up for it."

           GS: So you generate the rumors to keep the intrigue going, right?

           LG: Maybe.
