I'm still not 100% convinced, though I am much more s on second hearing than I was on first. By fourth or fifth I may be hailing it as a masterpiece. Of the three extra tracks, Fun Fun For Everyone, Tom, Dick And Harry and Messages From Sophia, the last is the best. It's an instrumental (vocal version on the album, anyone?) that reminds me a little of River from Joni Mitchell's Blue album, particularly the jingle-bells piano coda. Moody and moving. On the evidence of "Happiness" I thought LG was going to be one of those mildly entertaining but not essential acts, but since "Geek the Girl" she's become one of the best things on 4AD.
