I asked this question a few months ago, and the consensus was that
"HNIA" refers to Abraham Lincoln -- from a remark made by a high
school teacher, apparently.

There are people on the list who have interviewed Mr. Defever, but
none of them chimed in -- shame! -- so here I am.

This should be in the FAQ. Maybe it *is* in the FAQ: I haven't read it
lately...
