The first is a single for "Club Montepulciano", featuring a radio edit and the album version. Had I not read here that they'd had to bring in a new singer for their forthcoming album (_Blue Wonder Powder Milk_), I sure wouldn't have know it - the new singer sounds just about like the old one. The song doesn't do anything for me, though. It sounds like they've brought in more live instrumentation, and IMHO, it doesn't suit them. "Club Montepulciano" could have been brought to my attention under the guise of an upbeat album cut from Sarah McLachlan's _Surfacing_, and I wouldn't have blinked. The other promo is simply called _Sampler_, and contains four tracks: the aforementioned single in two forms (the radio edit again, plus a remix by a guy named Bugs, who appears courtesy of Ubiquity Recordings), another album track called "This Strange Effect", and "2Wicky" from their first album. The singer on the first album sounds much more airy/wispy whereas the new singer seems to have a deeper timbre to her voice as well as a better range. I think she's got great potential as a vocalist. Hard to believe she's only 18. Oh yeah, and that's 'Blue Wonder POWER Milk'...
