'keeping the weekend free' is a wonderful take on bruno's song...'drive around' having a vocally loop that is another defever staple. the overall mood of the song makes me smile....plus the blip of noise in two spots is a fun way to make you jump when you're listening w/headphones on. 'breaking the ice' is a fine testament to why i have fallen for dan littleton & ida. i was a little surprise dthat the song built so much energy towards the end.. perfect climax. 'blew it' just made me laugh like crazy....i can't help but think that it belongs on the soundtrack to Clueless for some reason. it reminds me of disco. i don't know why. i suggest this cd to anyone who really enjoys jenny's music. i'm sure her fans wouldn't be disappointed at all. warren's production isn't over the top...so i assume these are all the low-key versions that were picked to be on the album. :) if you're vaguelly familiar with jenny's music, you might want to consider looking into 'listening cap'. some moments sparkle and some are rather dim to me...i think just about anyone could find at least one song on the album that they thoroughly enjoyed. the art is pretty spiff. not the best v23 creation, but fitting given the music it represents. *k-j* ...the shoestring kind from disneyland is the best...
