New Mogwai EP is a bit of a letdown - "No education, no future (fuck the
curfew)" has three tracks which follow the standard plinky plonky WHOOSH(jet
aircraft takes off) plinky plonky Mogwai-by-numbers format - with Luke from
Long Fin Killie on violin on the first track, during the barely audible
quiet bits.  Only so much mileage to be had from the quiet-LOUD-quiet form,
and I think Mogwai have exhausted it.  You either have to have the volume
down so low that half the EP is sub-audible, or the middle bits are
deafening.
