Actually I rather like the new Primal Single.

I think the MBV mix is good - no its not Loveless, but we gotta give
Kevin room to breathe a little. I think it adds a new dimension to the
song that wasn't there before. I also really like the 'Disco mix' of the
title track - its got such a great groove to it that it needed an
indulgent 8 minute mix to feature it all.
Praise has already been heaped on the JAMC covers - and I concur... a
great take on a great song.

I'm sure that whenever MBV gets around to putting out another record it
will be both stunningly unexpected as well as fit perfectly alongside a
lot of great music that's been made since Loveless. K.Sheilds has managed
three times in a row to revolutionize the state of music by taking the
ideas around him and pushing them into a new realm... I'm sure the new
record will reflect a lot more 'electronica' and dub style effects (what
is hinted at in Soon, but pushed even further....


Of course all this is assuming that he'll finally get his ass off the dole
and produce something.
