Basically, Mark said that he submitted his new songs to 4AD
and they wanted him to change them, and he didn't want to,
so they parted company.

He said they wanted him to cut out all the guitar solos,
and that someone asked him who the crap guitarist was that
he hired to work on the new record.  His response:

"That's fuckin' _me_!"

All the new stuff I've heard -- both at the solo show and
the band show -- has been great.  I hope they find a good
new home.
