And Mark himself responded........He stated that he was simultaneously working on material for both a new Seefeel & Disjecta album. He also mentioned something about Scala but I wasn't clear as to whether he was helping them (it was my understanding he wasn't) or if the Scala project was just delaying the members contributions to the Seefeel recordings. Either way he said that Scala had something to do with his lack of recorded output over the last 2 years. He said things were going slow and not to expect a new release from either Seefeel or Disjecta before the end of the year. Then again, I could have been talking to an intern at Warp posing as Mark........that's all I know take care, Tom Date: Sun, 9 Aug 1998 12:09:13 -0400 From: Tom Richards Subject: Re: News Seefeel I had some questions about Disjecta's "Clean Pit & Lid" and emailed them to the address on the back of the CD. I got this information about 3 months ago so I don't know how accurate it still is >Nobody knows when is Seefeel's latest CD will be out? I read from Robin >Guthrie (Cocteau Twins) that the group will be realising their CD on >Cocteau Twin's label Bella Union. >
