BiZ Date: Sat, 12 Sep 1998 10:29:07 -0700 From: redbear Subject: new snowpony album i haven't had time to read the digests too closely lately, so maybe i missed it, but has anyone posted any feedback about the new snowpony album? i've got it, and must say that i was pretty disappointed. given the pedigree of the band members (MBV, stereolab) i expected a lot more from this project. i have the first couple cd singles (easy way down, chocolate in the sun), and while they are interesting, i wasn't too impressed. i'm even less impressed with the album. to me it sounds like they used up their sonic bag of tricks on the singles, and are already repeating themselves on the rest of the album. there's just not much there that interests me. cheers, --phil
