Stereolab - "Miss Modular" - not a stunning single (I loved
"Fluorescences" which seems to have left most Stereolab fans cold), a
couple of the tracks on the EP were recorded at Mouse on Mars's
studios with Andi and Jan playing on one of them (the best track on
the EP, I think).  The new MonM album is proving a little difficult
to get into, they seem to have fallen midway between the pop tunes of
"Iaora Tahiti" and the more abstract stuff on various recent
compilations, and haven't really incorporated the best bits of either
style.
