 Stereolab: You Used to Call Me Sadness
 Fuxa: Skyhigh

 Lissy's, 7" LISS15, "the first in an occasional series"

 Not worth selling your grandmother for.  The Fuxa track (which I
 listened to first under the impression that it was Stereolab, due to
 a label mix-up) is a pleasant but uninspired guitar strum with a
 background drone, ending with a short piece reminiscent of the
 experimental bits of "Space Age Batchelor Pad".  "3 Field Rotation"
 is a fine album, but this is mediocre.  The Stereolab track is a bit
 of a throwback - "Mars Audiac Quintet" style pop, with a "dum de dum
 de dum de dum" chorus, Laetitia singing some vaguely political
 lyrics, you know the score.  Stereolab fans should probably wait
 until they get round to putting "Switched On 3" together.
