Subject: bitty-itty reviews of The Pastels, Overblue, Windy&Carl,

Windy & Carl, _Portal_, Ba Da Bing!
This duo from The State Shaped Like a Mitten has been mentioned here
some so I was curious to check this out. The first impression I got was
of slowness... reeal slooooowness. It's all delayed and reverbed, slow,
fuzzy washes of guitars with some barely audible vox here and there.
It's not the type of thing I normally listen to, but it is the
good music to completely zone out to, perhaps like Flying Saucer Attack.
There is a good song called "Ode to Spaceman," presumably referring to
Spacemen 3.
