I'm not sure if it's getting a US release, or whether it's just a publicity device for the UK/European market. I suspect the latter, since Labradford aren't represented and Bowery Electric's track is from their first album (second one's on Beggars Banquet here). Labradford are absent (because their albums are either on Flying Nun or Blast First over here), and there's nothing by Flies Against the Sun or the Spiny Anteaters. On the other hand it's a fine collection, and dirt cheap. Just don't go paying rip-off prices if you live outside Europe and can't get hold of it (I know Vinita will be offering it at the right price, but it's the sort of thing some of the less honest places will be putting a huge mark-up on).
