If any of you want to be transported into a color noir, photographic, psychologically disturbing, humorous and sensory tittilating film experience, go see this film. If some of you are not familiar with Sherman's photgraphy, she has used herself as her subject for the past 20 years. Staging her own death, appearing as non-star Hollywood stars, and as Royalty, are just some of her experiments. By a few costume changes, and not much makeup, she can convey an eerie yet familiar quality by mere facial expression. When I left the theatre the film was still on me, it was like a layer I had to wear off. Excellent composition, each frame is a photograph in it's own right. Great acting by Carol Kane and Molly Ringwald. Top score my Evan Lurie (John's brother). Forget Scream 2, this is beyond horror movie. Jon
