Saw the new thriller "In Dreams" last night and was struck by a really beautiful piece of music that appears during the opening scenes and a climactic sequence towards the end of the film. It sounded much like a hymn or some sort of reverential piece of music but was surprised to find out that it was a piece written by the soundtrack composer Elliott Goldenthal with vocals by none other than Elizabeth Fraser. The piece is called "Dream Baby" and is part of the soundtrack CD. The movie itself is very good, despite some plot holes. Neil Jordan has a way of creating a mood in his movies, and he did with this one. Of course, the music did its job of helping that along as well. :)
