Residential district of Lewisham, to the north of Lee and south of the famous Blackheath common.

NORW: John Hector McFarlane lived with his parents, at Torrington Lodge (fictional) in Blackheath. Also, the starting point for Holmes's investigation.

SUSS: Watson once played for the Blackheath Football club, the premier rugby club of England. Robert Ferguson mentions that he played for Richmond.
