Capital of Hungary, pop. 716,476 (1900). Comprised of two cities on opposite sides of the Danube river: Buda and Pesth. [JT]GREE: The two Englishmen were found stabbed in Buda-Pesth, and the Hungarian police were of the opinion that they had quarrelled and inflicted mortal injuries on each other. Holmes had a different opinion.
